 After years in the military, I thought nothing could surprise me.

 Because as it turns out, I have a daughter.

 I’m ready to do anything for her now that I have custody. But I need help. And under normal circumstances, I’m sure her social worker would be happy to provide it.

 Except her social worker is my first love. The one whose heart I shattered when I left our small town all those years ago. 

 Addison is more beautiful than ever. It’s not long before I realize I’m still hopelessly in love with her.

 And she wants nothing to do with me.

So, now, I have to figure out how to be a single dad to a teenager and convince Addison that I’m worth a second chance. It certainly won’t be easy.

 

Guess it’s a good thing I have no intention of ever giving up on either of my girls…
